At a ceremony in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, on Saturday 14th of September 2024, twenty three women and men were commissioned into voluntary pastoral ministries – twenty two in the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly and one in the Diocese of Limerick.
They completed a two- year programme of Formation in Lay Ministry and Leadership run in conjunction with the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Mary Immaculate College, St. Patrick’s College, Thurles campus.
