Diocesan Transfers and Appointments 2025  

The Archbishop of Cashel & Emly, Dr Kieran O’Reilly,

          has made the following clerical appointments in the Archdiocese:

 

1.      Fr. Thomas Lanigan-Ryan, PP, Ballina & Boher to undertake a one year sabbatical programme 2025-2026

 

2.      Fr. Danny O’Gorman, PP, Mullinahone, Adm. Drangan & Cloneen to become PP Ballina & Boher

 

3.      Fr. Jimmy O’Donnell, PP, Killenaule & Moyglass to become Administrator Drangan & Cloneen

 

4.      Fr. Derry Quirke, PP, Ballingarry also be to Administrator of Mullinahone

 

5.      Fr. John Littleton, Director the Priory Institute, Tallaght, Dublin, to return to the Archdiocese.  Fr. Littleton to undertake a sabbatical         year  2025-2026

 

6.      Fr. Joe Walsh, PP, Anacarty & Donohill, to retire as part-time Chaplain to MIC, St. Patrick’s Campus, Thurles.

 

The Appointments take effect from Saturday 23rd /Sunday 24th August 2025
