St. Bernadette Relic
We are delighted to announce that the relic of St Bernadette will be visiting Holycross Abbey on 19th and 20th September 2024. This very special, once-in-lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts & charisms of Lourdes in our Diocese. We invite everyone to join us for this wonderful occasion.
Thursday 19th September 2024
9am – Ceremony of Welcome
9.30am – Veneration & private prayer until
5pm – Rosary & Veneration until
7.30pm – Mass with Anointing of the Sick
8.30pm – Torchlight procession (weather permitting)
9pm – Veneration until
10pm – Church Closed
Friday 20th September 2024
8am – Veneration until
10am – Novena & Farewell Mass
11am – Veneration until
12 noon – Angelus & Relic departs for Ossory Diocese
