Description
The Film ‘The Letter – A Message for our Earth’ was launched by the Vatican in 2022. The Letter is a powerful movie which tells the story of four people from very different backgrounds and the roles they are playing to care more deeply for our common home. Their voices represent the communities of the indigenous, science, youth and the poor. The real story is about the movement of hearts that is needed to address the damage caused by the abuse of creation. Dr. Asner (representing the voice of science) said ‘…The climate crisis cannot be solved by technology … it’s all of you… we need you.’
The Letter Film will be shown in the Excel Cinema, Tipperary on Thursday 28 September at 7.30 pm. All are welcome. Admission is free. Jane Mellet (Trocaire) will be present and will respond to any questions after the showing.
