Religious Education Secretary

This is a 2-year Fixed-Term Contract

The purpose of this role is to assist the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly and it’s constituent parishes and agencies in the establishment of a Faith Development Service for primary schools and supporting parish based Sacramental preparation.

The National Directory for Catachesis in Ireland (2010) dwells on the subject of Catholic ethos in Catholic schools enumerating several key features of such an openly Catholic ethos in a school. And it highlights the rapidly changing culture and the ‘’Culture of Change’’ within which the Gospel has to be lived and presented in Ireland in the coming decade.
